Basic Mediation Course is a unique 4-day course. It will be useful for those who are interested or already involved in handling issues and disputes between friends, peers, colleagues, family members, neighbors and community members.

What is Mediation?

  • Mediation is a dispute resolution process where neutral third parties bring the disputants to the table so they can engage with each other in a constructive manner.
  • Mediation encourages joint problem-solving and the Mediator facilitates agreement between the parties
  • The mediator, vitally, helps re-build relationships between the parties.
  • Mediation is a win-win approach

The course will help you understand:

  • Why people in disputes do not listen to each other
  • How people in disputes move to extreme positions, making it further difficult for them to solve problems
