Deepalaya is one of the largest operational NGO in Delhi.
Deepalaya commits itself to:
- Continue to identify with and work along the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged – starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware;
- Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life
- And to that end, act as a resource to and collaborate with other agencies - governmental or non-governmental, as well as suitably intervene in policy formulation.
We are looking for Executive / Sr. Executive - Programs to work with our Street Children Project
Project implementation responsibilities will include:
- Implementation of project
- Recruiting street children into the shelter home
- Mainstreaming the children with Govt./Private schools
- Impart life skills
- Ensuring discipline of children as well as staff
Competencies Required:
- Awareness of Child Rights
- Notions of Child Psycology
- Good observation skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to take on challenges and initiative
- Emotional maturity
Person specific:
- Relevant basic qualification in program areas with minimum 1 year of practical experience
